Description
Easterseals Joliet Region is looking for a BCaBA for our Residential Program.   Responsible for coordinating, scheduling, communicating, and continually evaluating the effectiveness of functional behavior assessments, behavioral evaluations, and behavior intervention plans.

1. Implementing Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs):

  • Plan interventions and strategies to reduce challenging behaviors and promote skill development.
  • Ensure the consistent and accurate implementation of the BIP, maintaining fidelity to the plan's guidelines.

2. Data Collection and Analysis:

  • Collect data on client progress and behaviors, using methods such as direct observation and checklists.
  • Analyze the collected data to track progress, identify patterns, and inform decisions about modifying the intervention plan.

3. Direct Therapy and Skill Development:

  • Provide direct therapy to individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities, focusing on enhancing communication, social skills, and daily living skills.
  • Use evidence-based techniques like positive reinforcement, prompting, and task analysis to teach new skills and behaviors.
