Residential Director

The Residential Director is responsible for overseeing residential services for adults with developmental disabilities, ensuring high-quality, person-centered care in a safe and supportive living environment. This role includes supervising nursing, behavioral health, QIDP, coordinators, and supporting direct support staff.  Accountable for maintaining compliance with regulatory standards and promoting independence for residents.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership and support to residential staff.
  • Coordinate program funding to include the completion of rate review packets for CILA consumers, provide leadership on 24 hr. shift schedules and overtime.
  • Liaison for Office of Ithe nspector General (OIG)
  • Ensure services align with person-centered plans, agency policies, and state and federal regulations.
  • Ensure the development and implementation of individual service plans (ISPs) in coordination with interdisciplinary teams.
  • Support residents’ rights, dignity, independence, and quality of life.
  • Monitor program operations, including staffing, health and safety, facility upkeep, and documentation.
  • Train, schedule, and evaluate staff performance, providing coaching and development.
  • Serve as a liaison to families, guardians, QIDPs, and other community partners.
  • Respond to incidents, emergencies, and concerns with professionalism and care.
  • Manage program budgets and assist with audits, licensing reviews, and quality assurance.

 

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree or equivalent; Health and Human Services license preferred. 
  • Ten years (10) of experience supporting and interacting with persons with developmental disabilities.
  • QIDP credential is required
  • Experience with CILA planning, implementation, and training.
  • Previous experience with Rule 115, 116 & 50 of the mental health code outlining Community Integrated Living Arrangement (CILA) standards.
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours and respond to on-call needs.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.

Salary: $80,000/DOE
